About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP for Corporate and Workplace Solutions, with a focus on Engineering and Critical System Operations. This role is pivotal in managing the operational risk of the company's real estate portfolio, ensuring 100% business continuity, and contributing to the firm's sustainability and healthy building goals. The successful candidate will oversee a team of engineering managers and operating engineers, serving as an MEP engineering subject matter expert. Responsibilities include managing the critical MEP infrastructure, developing and tracking energy performance metrics, refining monitoring processes, and participating in real estate planning and capital projects. The VP will also be involved in incident response and crisis management and must be available 24/7 to manage critical incidents.Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in engineering design and/or facilities management, preferably in financial institutions or technology-intensive organizations. A broad understanding of critical systems infrastructure and a proven track record of managing engineering teams are essential. The role requires the ability to read and understand MEP drawings, and technical manuals, and to communicate technical concepts effectively. Professional Engineering (PE) license and experience in large-scale construction projects are preferred qualifications. The ideal candidate will be achievement-oriented, creative, and motivated by tangible results, thriving in a diverse team environment.
