What You’ll Do
The Vice President, Curio Science is responsible for shaping, leading, and scaling Curio Science as Vaniam Group’s insights‑driven growth platform. This role brings strong commercial leadership, operational rigor, and strategic execution to ensure Curio Science delivers measurable, scalable revenue impact across clients, brands, and therapeutic areas. You will partner closely with executive leadership, business development, client teams, and delivery teams to translate innovation into repeatable growth.
 
A Day in the Life
Deliverables
  • Own and execute Curio Science’s growth agenda, translating enterprise strategy into clear operating plans, launch roadmaps, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead the development and scaling of Curio Science offerings, evolving solutions from bespoke work into productized, repeatable capabilities.
  • Define success metrics, adoption benchmarks, and financial targets for Curio Science initiatives.
  • Ensure Curio Science delivers high‑quality, compliant, and scalable solutions that drive long‑term client value.
 
Client Responsibility
  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a senior Curio Science leader on priority accounts, guiding growth, expansion, and innovation efforts.
  • Commercial Partnership: Partner with Business Development and Client Services to embed Curio Science offerings into proposals, expansions, and long‑term client strategies.
  • Value Delivery: Ensure Curio Science consistently delivers outcomes that support renewals, upsell, and durable client partnerships.
  • Executive Presence: Represent Curio Science in senior‑level client conversations where growth and innovation are critical.
 
Internal Responsibility
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Client Services, Operations, Finance, Recruitment, and other Vaniam Group teams to ensure Curio Science operates as an integrated enterprise capability.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop Curio Science’s senior leadership team, fostering accountability, ownership, and readiness for scale.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee forecasting, capacity planning, and performance management to support margin‑positive growth.
  • Process & Framework Development: Establish dashboards, KPIs, and operating frameworks tied to growth, efficiency, and scalability.
 
Business Development
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify growth opportunities within existing clients and across new markets where Curio Science can deliver differentiated value.
  • Proposal & SOW Development: Shape strategic and commercial sections of proposals, pitches, and SOWs related to Curio Science offerings.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership, case studies, and market positioning that reinforce Curio Science’s role as a growth engine.
  • External Engagement: Build visibility and credibility for Curio Science through industry presence, partnerships, and executive‑level relationships.
 
What You Must Have
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in healthcare communications, medical marketing, insights, or related agency/consulting environments.
  • Proven experience scaling offerings, platforms, or businesses tied directly to revenue growth and commercial performance.
  • Experience owning or materially influencing P&L, revenue targets, or growth KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in compliance‑sensitive environments.
 
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong commercial instincts with a growth‑operator mindset.
  • Ability to translate innovation into repeatable, monetized offerings.
  • Financial and operational acumen, including forecasting, performance tracking, and capacity planning.
  • Executive presence with strong communication, influence, and decision‑making skills.
  • Collaborative, solutions‑oriented leadership style with a bias toward execution and impact.
  • Knowledge of how to thoughtfully and responsibly leverage AI and technology to accelerate insights, workflows, and scalable delivery.
 
Travel Requirements
  • Travel as required based on client, project, and organizational needs.
 
The Team You’ll Work Closest With
You will work closely with the Curio Science leadership team and partner across Client Services, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Recruitment, and other Vaniam Group teams depending on project and growth needs.
