About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Data Management to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to develop innovative, targeted therapies for autoimmune diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Data Management strategy and processes across the portfolio, leading a team through a period of rapid growth and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and management. This role is integral to the Clinical Development Leadership Team, contributing to the establishment of an effective, well-functioning organization. The VP of Data Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Biostatistics and Programming, and external vendors to integrate data management activities throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. They must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of clinical data management experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.Key requirements for this position include in-depth knowledge of clinical data management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements, proficiency in data management tools and technologies, and a proven track record of managing clinical trial databases for Phase I-III trials. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They should be adept at problem-solving, and decision-making, and be focused on driving results and delivering high-quality data. Experience with EDC systems, and CTMS, and a background in a remote-based work environment are also essential. The role demands a professional who is adaptable to change, with the capacity to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
