About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of E-Commerce to lead the strategic development and execution of the company's E-commerce strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for two E-commerce B2B direct sale websites and will support the optimization of lead gen sites across the company's portfolio. This role requires a data and process-oriented individual with extensive experience in managing internal teams, outside consultants, and agencies. The VP of E-Commerce will be tasked with driving revenue growth, enhancing the customer experience, and managing a dedicated team of E-commerce professionals. They will also be responsible for managing the E-commerce P&L, optimizing online sales channels, and maximizing profitability.Applicants should have a BA/BS and 10-15 years of relevant working experience, with a proven track record of growing an E-commerce brand. The role demands a leader who can effectively collaborate with internal and external partners, manage a P&L, and demonstrate expertise in various E-commerce areas, including organic and paid search, site design, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. The VP of E-Commerce will be expected to provide strong, visible leadership to the E-commerce team, guide the marketplace team, and ensure the seamless functionality, user experience, and security of the E-commerce platforms. They must be adept at analyzing E-commerce performance metrics and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for site improvement, as well as staying informed about industry trends and best practices in E-commerce and digital marketing.
