About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Federal Sales to join their team and lead the development and execution of strategies to meet annual revenue targets and drive long-term growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining market tactics, establishing and leading a cross-functional team, and transforming and integrating all go-to-market functions. This role requires a growth-minded sales leader with the ability to recruit and retain exceptional talent, manage a productive and sustainable sales pipeline, and ensure significant revenue growth annually. The Vice President of Federal Sales will also act as the executive sponsor for key customer and partner relationships, and be the spokesperson for the company in the federal region.To be considered for this position, candidates must have at least 8 years of experience building and running Federal sales teams in the software industry, with a preference for those with 2nd line management experience. The role demands a deep understanding of SaaS/Cloud GTM and the federal landscape across Civilian, DoD, & FSI. The ideal candidate will have a history of consistently meeting/exceeding targets, excellent leadership and influencing skills, and a mastery of consultative/solution selling methodologies. They should be technically and operationally strong, with the ability to bring process and rigor to the organization, and be an innovator with the courage to pursue new ideas. The role also requires the ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data, so the successful candidate must be able to establish U.S. Person status upon hire.
