On Target Executive Search is looking for a VP OF FINANCE to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Central NJ on a full-time basis.
Our client's sole purpose is to bring innovation and excellence to the pharmaceutical pill manufacturing category. They are a contract development manufacturing organization that has been providing effective solutions to its customers for over a decade.

Job Summary:
Working in the Corporate Finance Team, the VP Of Finance will oversee the company’s expanding operations and provide clear direction for the Finance Team. This senior financial executive and business partner will provide vision, leadership, and cross-functional expertise to drive efficiencies, improve profitability, and support short and long–term business goals. They will provide leadership and management of all aspects of finance, accounting, taxation, and fundraising. The role will guide secretarial and legal functions, providing critical management decision support for the overall company operations.

The VP Of Finance will play an active and sufficient role in overseeing the plans and performance of the company and will be actively involved with the executive team in formulating and evaluating operational and strategic scenarios and initiatives. The ideal candidate should be entrepreneurial, motivated, and excited by the opportunity in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry while having a strong learning agility with the ability to wear different hats as required.

Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
with the Leadership and Board to share the company’s strategic vision.
the budgeting process, maintaining fiscal control, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.
all aspects of financial reporting, including revenue/expense balance sheets, and reports to funding agencies.
and maintain internal controls and coordinate with independent auditors.
banking activities and ensure optimal cash flow to meet organizational needs.

Compliance and Legal Oversight:
taxation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, including audits and court procedures.
legal and secretarial requirements to support company operations.

Financial Controls and Reporting:
and maintain financial controls using ERP systems.
analytical accounting rules and cost center structures for enhanced financial analysis.
the consistency of physical, systems, and accounting movements within the plants by using an ERP system and implementing controls and internal audits.
the costing database and support Marketing in the bidding process.

Strategic Planning and Fund Raising:
and maintain medium-term commercial plans based on business growth prospects.
investment strategies with the company’s growth objectives.
funds and manage borrowings at the lowest cost from financial institutions.
sustainable cash flow and provide timely reports to senior management.
and provide insights on product costing.

Team Management, IT, and HR Oversight:
a team of 6-8 personnel both domestic and international, ensuring their growth and development.
functional IT systems to optimize financial operations.
the HR functions to optimize manpower needs.

Qualifications:
qualifications include CPA with 10-15 years of post-qualification work experience in senior finance roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
proactive, hands-on strategic thinker who will assist senior management.
knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and data analysis methods.
in financial management software.
with all financial and tax laws, including domestic and cross-border transactions.
working in a promoter-driven company.
