About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Finance and Administration to work in a full-time, remote capacity. This strategic leadership role involves partnering with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Leadership Team to execute organizational strategy, implement new processes, and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities for the VP of Finance and Administration include managing finance and HR operations, overseeing the budget cycle, leading financial reporting and analysis, and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The role also requires the establishment of data-informed decision-making processes, continuous evaluation of strategies, and leveraging technology to enhance operational effectiveness.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in change management, be mission-focused, and possess at least 10 years' of national philanthropic experience, with a minimum of 5 years' in a senior management position. The VP will be responsible for operations and strategic management, fiscal management, human resources and organizational culture, capacity development and evaluation, and providing strategic guidance on technology improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a high level of business acumen, and excellent project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive is essential, with a preference for knowledge of Salesforce, Slack, and Asana. The VP will be expected to mentor and develop a diverse team, build performance management plans, and ensure that the organization's processes align with its mission and values.
