Role Summary:

Accountable for the Finance technology, product management, governance, and transformation function. Leads a portfolio of complex Finance programs, products, and initiatives that support Finance strategic objectives. Serves as a trusted advisor to senior Finance leadership and is responsible for budgets, resources, and governance processes within the Finance technology portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Transformation Leadership

• Develop and execute the Finance technology and product management strategy in support of Finance business objectives. 


• Partner with Finance executives to identify opportunities for automation, process modernization, analytics and technology enablement. 


• Establish multi-year roadmaps across Finance products, platforms and transformation initiatives. 


• Sponsor large-scale initiatives that improve efficiency, controls, data quality and user experience. 


• Advise senior Finance leadership on technology capabilities, investment options and transformation opportunities. 

2. Portfolio Governance & Investment Management

• Own the Finance technology and transformation portfolio, including intake, prioritization, governance and investment planning. 


• Chair Finance technology governance and steering committee forums. 


• Develop and manage annual budgets for Finance technology, transformation and product management activities. 


• Establish standards for business cases, prioritization, benefit realization and portfolio reporting. 


• Balance investments and resources across Finance functions and business priorities. 


• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure delivery of expected business outcomes. 

3. Process Excellence & Operational Improvement

• Lead cross-functional efforts to simplify, standardize and automate Finance processes. 


• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through technology, data and workflow enhancements. 


• Drive adoption of best practices across Finance processes and supporting technologies. 


• Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives across multiple Finance functions. 

4. Senior Stakeholder Management & Organizational Leadership

• Serve as a strategic partner to Finance and Technology leaders. 


• Influence investment priorities, resource allocation and roadmap decisions. 


• Lead teams of Directors, Product Owners, Program Managers and business analysts. 


• Build organizational capability within Finance product management and transformation disciplines. 


• Drive alignment across Finance stakeholders regarding portfolio priorities and transformation objectives. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree


• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience


• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across senior leadership teams.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role.  The role is also eligible for an annual bonus; whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.

Base Salary Range: $160,700 - $241,000
