About the Role
The Company is seeking a strategic sourcing Vice President with a proven track record in global procurement and sourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the organizational framework within sourcing to provide strategic leadership in building and enhancing best-in-class procurement activities and processes. This role demands a strategic and team-oriented leader who can partner with executives, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to drive value for the company on a global scale. The VP of Global Strategic Sourcing will be tasked with developing and implementing a global sourcing strategy, ensuring optimal supplier performance, and driving year-over-year cost savings through supplier innovation and process improvement. Additionally, the role involves owning and driving facility and real estate strategies, as well as creating solutions to maximize cost effectiveness in support of business priorities.Basic qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 15 years of global procurement/sourcing experience, and a strong background in operations. The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment. They should be self-directed, detail-oriented, and experienced in the day-to-day operations associated with procurement. A proven ability to build and transform teams, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills, are essential. The role also requires the ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including internationally, and fluency in English.
