About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Head of Treasury Operations for the Americas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and oversight of daily treasury operations activities, including payment, cash management, and bank administration, across North America. This role also involves partnering with local resources in Latin America to provide strategic direction on group-wide initiatives and driving the delivery of key global treasury strategic objectives. The VP will lead the continued implementation of the Treasury Transformation Project, including the deployment of preferred treasury systems for identified business units and locations. Additionally, the role includes coordination on global finance projects and managing a team both locally and at the company's India-based offshore center.The ideal candidate for this VP, Head of Treasury Operations role should have a player-coach mentality, combining best-in-class execution with a vision for the future of Treasury. They must be comfortable with treasury operations across the Americas region and have global experience. Major duties include overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly treasury operations activities, managing a dual-location operations department, providing strategic input on treasury transformational initiatives, and coordinating with senior leaders on global finance projects. The VP will also be responsible for influencing internal business partners to align with treasury infrastructure and strategy, providing critical input on SOX or ERM controls, and acting as an escalation point for the department. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders are essential for this role.
