Vice President Investment Banking

Roth Capital Partners, LLC, a relationship-driven investment bank serving growth companies and their investors, is interested in speaking with qualified candidates for a Vice President or Senior Associate role in its Technology Investment Banking team. In addition to core investment banking capabilities centered on capital formation and M&A advisory services, our full-service platform includes equity research, sales & trading, macroeconomic perspectives, technical insights, derivatives strategies, and corporate access. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, ROTH MKM is a privately held, employee-owned organization and maintains offices throughout the U.S. Candidates will be considered that can work from the firm’s Newport Beach, Los Angeles or San Francisco locations.

Responsibilities:
· Execute all phases of M&A and capital markets transactions (public & private equity, debt, structured);
· Manage due diligence process for pending engagements;
participate in client-facing activities;
· Prepare pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials;
· Lead, mentor and assist in training junior bankers;
· Prepare technology industry and targeted sector reports;
· Financial analysis, including assessment of financial statements, valuation metrics, and industry benchmarking;
· Develop analyses and models (including financial projections, LBO, DCF, public comparables, relevant M&A transactions, etc.), and supporting materials; and
· Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
· 3 years or more experience as an associate or VP at a full service investment bank with advisory or capital markets experience;
· Track record of successfully executing transactions, leading banking execution, prepare client materials;
· A strong grasp of the technology industry, financial modeling, and exceptional communication skills; and
· Outstanding academic credentials with a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting.

Compensation: $70,000-$400,000
