Vice President, Machine Learning Engineering

The Vice President, Machine Learning Engineering will lead our efforts to design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that are scalable, efficient, and impactful. The successful candidate will be a key member of our technology leadership team, driving the strategic planning and execution of machine learning initiatives that support our business goals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to enhance our capabilities in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the company’s machine learning strategy in alignment with business objectives

Build and manage a talented team of machine learning and data engineers

Oversee the research, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms that solve complex problems and improve our products and services

Collaborate with other senior leaders to integrate machine learning capabilities across the company

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve our machine learning infrastructure and practices

Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our machine learning systems

Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality solutions

Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the machine learning team

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field

At least 8 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project deployment

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large technical teams and cross-functional projects

Extensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, statistical modeling, and data architecture

Proficiency in programming languages and tools used in machine learning (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and adapt to changing business and technology landscapes
