About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Merchandise Planning to lead the planning organization and execute inventory management strategies across its brand divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and driving inventory planning strategies to maximize financial performance, ensure stock levels align with objectives, and lead a team of Merchandise Planning Directors, planners, and coordinators. This role requires a strong leader with at least 10 years of experience in merchandise and inventory planning, a Bachelor's degree, and advanced proficiency in Excel, inventory management systems, and sales analysis.As the VP of Merchandise Planning, you will collaborate with merchandising and sourcing partners, manage the brand's open-to-buy, and make operational recommendations for inventory flow across various channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inventory management, strong business acumen, and the ability to create and present influential documents to the executive leadership team. A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of achieving results in a dynamic environment is essential.
