About the Role
The Company, a leading graduate school of theology offering masters and doctoral degrees in ministry disciplines, is seeking a Vice President of Academic Affairs. This role is the chief academic officer responsible for the development, quality, and advancement of the educational programs. The VP of Academic Affairs will oversee faculty, curriculum, library, student life, and assessment, and serve as the principal liaison with accrediting and licensing agencies. As a member of the Cabinet, the VP will also participate in strategic planning, operational oversight, and general governance of the institution.The ideal candidate must be theologically compatible with the Seminary's Statement of Faith, possess a high degree of personal and professional integrity, and demonstrate a high level of institutional loyalty. Required qualifications include an academic doctoral degree in a relevant field, effective administrative and relational skills, and the ability to research, plan, and implement new initiatives. The VP will lead faculty meetings, guide curricular discussions, administer evaluations, and oversee faculty recruiting. Additionally, the role involves strategic initiatives such as leading the development of online education, expanding Hispanic Studies programs, and building the Ministry Apprenticeship Alliance. Preferred qualifications include pastoral experience, significant graduate teaching experience, and a record of publications.
