Job Description - Vice President of Business Development (Full Time)

Vice President of Business Development / Skilled Nursing Facilities

Now Hiring a Vice President of Business Development for the Mid-Western States / Region (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa).

Must have Skilled Nursing Facility Sales Experience!

Salaried and commission-based compensation!

The Vice President of Business Development is assigned the responsibility ofresearching potential growth opportunities for Broad River Rehab, developing marketingstrategies and plans of action to pursue new business. Additionally, the responsibilitiesinclude providing direction for sales and marketing staff, overseeing projects, reportingto executive staff on the progress of plans and implementation of new contracts.

Thisposition will work closely with the Chief Strategist and other staff as needed to ensureefforts are in correlation with overall business goals.

Objectives will be achieved withinthe value system of Broad River Rehabilitation.

Performance Measures

Establishment of new contracts as a result of efforts.
Increase in gross revenue

Job Responsibilities

Conduct research to identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
Develop marketing strategies specific to the region, group, and/or identifiedneeds of customers.
Provide direction and project timelines to sales and marketing staff. Monitorprogress of assignments, assist with resolution of obstacles, and adjust plansof action as needed.
Provide reports of research findings, recommendations for new opportunities,and reports of progress on active/ongoing sales initiatives to the CEO, COOand the Chief Strategist.
Participate in sales meetings with potential new clients as needed,demonstrating features, benefits, advantages and value of Broad RiverRehab.
Keep current on healthcare trends, laws/regulations and other internal andexternal marketing factors.
Represent Broad River Rehabilitation in a professional and appropriatemanner and demonstrate Knowledge and Compassion , our core values, atall times.

Credentials

Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in healthcare, business, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in development and implementation ofsales/marketing strategies, preferably in the healthcare field.
Demonstrated success in sales and/or marketing roles within a business unitwith annual sales of at least $5 million.
Exhibition of a high level of professional principals consistent with the missionand values of this corporation
Ability to prioritize, implement and follow plans of action to meet establishedtimelines
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
