They will also manage a team of 12 staff, including specialists in science writing, graphic design, video production, events, web development, and social media.The ideal Vice President of Communications will have an innovative and comprehensive approach to branding and communications, with the ability to build strong relationships and alliances both internally and externally. They should be adept at creating a cohesive and compelling narrative that resonates with diverse audiences and be prepared to support the company's fundraising campaigns. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in communication management and a background in a related field, such as public relations, marketing, or journalism. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is typically required, with a Master's degree being a plus. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and have experience in managing a team.
