Vice President of Corporate Operations

The Vice President of Corporate Operations is responsible for overseeing and improving the firm’s operations, policies, and procedures. Reporting directly to the President, the VP must be able to demonstrate leadership and manage diverse business operations that will facilitate firm growth, ensure operational efficiency, and create transparency on departmental performance. This position also serves as an integral member of the executive leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations and administrative processes of the firm, including IT, HR, Training, Transitions, Construction, Risk Management, Marketing and Operations.
  • Work with the President to design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Establish policies that promote firm culture and vision.
  • Willing to make key operating decisions and develop and implement new procedures as necessary in consultation with the President.
  • Ensure optimum staff utilization and development in delivering exceptional client service.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Lead teams to encourage high performance, dedication, retention, and drive accountability.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting firm data and metrics.
  • Responsible for all office activities and vendor relationships.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts as they occur.
  • Leverage technology to drive process improvement and transparency into corporate operations.
  • Required to multitask, manage multiple projects concurrently, and execute roadmaps for technology or process implementations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in Business Administration
  • 10+ years of experience as an Operations Leader for a company
  • Must possess excellent strategic, planning, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in implementing new technology and processes.
  • Diverse background in terms of management and involvement with other departments
  • Positive attitude with entrepreneurial spirit and motivational and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in oversight of technology implementations
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but also able to recognize and support the firm’s preferences and priorities.
  • Disciplined and process-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create value through operational excellence and continuous improvement; solutions oriented to stability and structure with a high sense of urgency.
  • Results and profit-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude who is patient and maintains a calm demeanor.
