About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for the Department of Defense (DoD) business line, responsible for leading and managing the go-to-market strategy and execution. The role involves creating demand for the company's products and services within the DoD, engaging with key decision-makers, and shaping strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will manage a sales organization, optimize territories, and ensure the team meets and exceeds pipeline goals. They will also be expected to develop and maintain close relationships with senior DoD officials, understand customer technology priorities, and work cross-functionally to articulate customer requirements to the product roadmap.Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience selling into the DoD, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals, and 5 years of experience managing a sales or sales operations team. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is experience with government and DoD acquisition methods. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in hardware and software sales at a government-focused company. Knowledge of business development processes, competitive product analysis, and the ability to obtain a security clearance are also preferred. The role demands a commitment to customer satisfaction, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
