About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Design to lead and advance the Platform UX. This role is pivotal in ensuring the design system's continuous improvement to support innovative product development, maintaining brand consistency, and meeting evolving user needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a global team of approximately 25 associates, overseeing design foundations, and leading the design and implementation of a cohesive and scalable platform UX. They will also be instrumental in translating UX strategy into tangible design solutions, fostering collaboration across teams, and championing user-centered design and evidence-based decision-making.Applicants for the VP of Design position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field, with a preference for those with a background in HCI. A minimum of 12 years' of experience in design leadership roles, particularly with a focus on enterprise design programs, is required. The role demands a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and platform services, as well as proficiency in design software and technologies such as Confluence, Figma, Jira, Storybook, and others. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The candidate should be adept at fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging, with a commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace.
