About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to lead the transformation of healthcare by bringing a strategic and proactive approach to risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise risk management strategy and objectives, working closely with senior executives to manage strategic, financial, and operational risks, and leading the development of risk management programs to ensure the safety and security of the organization and its customers. This role requires a highly credible risk professional with strong financial acumen, at least 15 years of experience in risk management within the health insurance industry, and a proven track record of successful leadership in major risk assessments.As the key executive leader and strategic advisor on risk management, the Vice President will also be tasked with leading corporate resiliency and preparedness, overseeing business continuity and disaster readiness programs, and managing a comprehensive risk-based audit approach. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the health insurance industry and products, as well as experience with compliance policies, regulations, and procedures. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or risk management is required, with a Master's degree and professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA) preferred. The role demands a leader who can foster a positive work environment, mentor associates, and effectively influence the organization to achieve operational objectives and minimize risks.
