About the Role
The Vice President of Global Engineering at The Company is a strategic leadership role integral to shaping the corporate engineering department's vision and providing support across all sterilization modalities. The VP will be responsible for overseeing capital expenditure projects, strategic planning initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes hands-on involvement in facilities design, optimizing plant equipment and technologies, and spearheading the development and execution of facility maintenance programs. The role also involves managing a team of six direct reports and holding overall accountability for a global staff of approximately 40 professionals. The VP will be expected to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to and from the company's offices and facilities.Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering field, with an MBA strongly preferred, and over 20 years of hands-on experience in technical engineering, capital project management, and facilities maintenance. A minimum of 10 years in a strategic leadership role at the senior management/director level is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing global capital improvement and maintenance projects, financial and business acumen with prior P&L responsibility, and technical expertise in process and controls systems for large-scale process facilities. Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple challenges and deadlines while navigating stakeholder priorities.
