About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Global Sales for its data center colocation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key global hyperscale accounts, executing sales strategies, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires a senior level of client relationship skills, including experience in negotiations and articulating complex solutions. The VP of Global Sales will also be accountable for meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preparing sales documents, and staying well-informed on industry changes. The position demands a team selling approach, strong contract negotiation skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments to execute large sales opportunities.Candidates for the VP of Global Sales position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years' in data center colocation sales, particularly with Fortune 500 clients. The role necessitates in-depth knowledge of data center regulations, proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with Miller Heiman conceptual selling practices and a proven track record of managing large sales opportunities are also essential. The role is remote, but may require frequent travel, and the candidate must be available for on-call duties and work outside traditional business hours.
