About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for Information Technology and Operations to serve as the lead administrator for IT and Operations, playing a pivotal role in the college's leadership team and contributing to its overall strategy and operations. The VP will be responsible for serving as the Chief Information Officer, providing project oversight for major capital projects, and overseeing the daily operations of IT, Plant Facilities, and Security departments. Additionally, the role involves representing the college at various state committees and departments, overseeing special projects, controlling campus expenditures, and participating in policy and procedure development. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage personnel, including hiring and performance evaluations, and to assist in the development and distribution of administrative reports.Applicants for this position must have a Master's degree in a discipline related to IT, Business, or Facilities Management, and demonstrate leadership experience in higher education. They should possess a strong commitment to teamwork and diversity, outstanding leadership, managerial, technical, and interpersonal skills, and a track record of implementing long-range growth-sustainability strategies. Proficiency in ERP systems, both On-Premise and Cloud services, as well as an understanding of Plant Facilities and campus security, is required. The role demands the ability to engage the Board in strategic plans, utilize tools to unite business history and strategies and synthesize complex information for diverse audiences. A proactive, decisive style of strategic planning and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of ten years of experience in a supervisory role with multi-divisional oversight.
