Vice President of Product Strategy, Credit Cards About the Company Innovative digital neo-banking platform Industry Internet Type Privately Held, VC-backed Founded 2015 Employees 501-1000 Funding $200 million Categories Banking Financial Services FinTech About the Role The Company is seeking a VP Product Strategy for Credit Cards to lead the strategic development and management of a range of Next-Gen technology and systems, including credit card processing, origination, mobile apps, lifecycle marketing, conversational AI, and more. The role involves optimizing performance KPIs for customers, prioritizing product backlogs, defining product and feature specifications, overseeing development and implementation, and continuously monitoring and improving platform performance. The ideal candidate will be deeply analytical, data-driven, and possess an engineering mindset with a strong technology background. They should have at least 15 years of experience in credit risk, portfolio management, servicing, and collections for large credit card portfolios, and hold a degree in engineering, economics, finance, or statistics. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience across the full Program Management lifecycle of a credit card, including underwriting, portfolio management, operations, customer support, collections, and financial modeling. They should have in-depth knowledge of risk and regulations, operational rigor, and leadership skills to manage a lean and efficient team. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with the ability to operate from first principles and a proven track record of defining and running processes to optimize operations. Experience in financial modeling and a deep understanding of relevant systems such as application processing, loan origination, digital apps, and analytics are also essential.
