We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our executive team. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's operations, including production, supply chain management, logistics, quality control, field service technical support/scheduling and customer service for aftermarket parts & related services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and maximize profitability. Lead and mentor a team of operational managers and supervisors Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of operational goals Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organization Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results in a fast-paced environment for both commodity and custom machine building. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term operational plans Experience in [industry or relevant sector] is preferred Machine building and metal fabrication – TBD! Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus Experience with global supply chain and outsourcing engineering components, sub-assemblies and complete BOMs/builds. Experience managing multi-site facilities a plus. Implementation of a fully integrated ERP/MRP system required.
