Job Description - Vice President Operations

Vice Present of Operations

role. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction for the brand. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to expand market presence, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships that contribute to the company’s overall growth and success. This person will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the company’s long-term vision and drive sustainable growth. You’ll strive to continually improve guest satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the company.

Important Duties Include:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development and growth strategies aligned with Company’s goals and objectives.
Identify emerging market trends, industry disruptions, and competitive landscape changes to capitalize on new opportunities.
Collaborate with ownership to define long-term goals and initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
Initiate and nurture strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to expand the company s outreach.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to asses the effectiveness of business development and sales strategies.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for ownership, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
Boots-on-the-ground involvement at each property, providing mentorship, direction and support.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of strategies.
Collaborate with finance and executive teams to develop budgets and financial plans for business development and sales initiatives.
Monitor expenditures and ensure effective resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Runs statement meetings, prepares agendas and creates key focus items.
Identify deficiencies and areas for improvement and redesign.

Competencies Include:
Excellent English communication and presentation skills with proficiency in presenting regular business reviews and performance updates to senior executives and ownership.
Must have an expert level understanding of financial information and hotel data metrics.
Proven track record of success in business development, strategy, and leadership.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive forces.
Ability to influence and effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
A high degree of professionalism with diplomatic and poised communication at all levels and manage confidential information with complete discretion.
Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry operations.

Supervisory Responsibility
Leads a team of property general managers and corporate directors.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in Business Administration with an emphasis on hospitality.
Heavy multi-unit food and beverage operational background, to include banquets.
Minimum 15 years of hospitality experience.
Minimum 10 years of management experience.
