About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Pre-Sales Architects to lead a high-performance team of Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of the global pre-sales architects to achieve sales goals, including recruiting, training, and developing the team. This role involves collaborating with the leadership team to set sales strategy, representing the company at industry events, and influencing the direction of service offerings. The VP will also be expected to guide prospects through the value proposition, participate in the weekly forecasting process, and ensure that technical sales activities are tracked and current. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Oracle and/or SAP pre-sales space, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the services industry as a senior executive.Candidates for the VP, Pre-Sales Architects position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a Master's or MBA being desirable. Essential skills include the ability to build and lead a technical sales team, a charismatic executive presence, and experience in supporting the sales of ERP software solutions for Oracle and/or SAP. The role requires a leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to develop sales strategies, and a talent for solution selling. The VP will be expected to travel as needed for sales opportunities and must be adept at gathering requirements and customer feedback for product management. Experience in a company with annual revenues of at least $150M and a track record of achieving sales quotas are also essential.
