About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Project Development in the solar and storage sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all development activities across the Western US, managing a team of developers and support staff, and providing mentorship in various project development and management aspects. Collaboration with internal and external resources is essential for structuring and closing project transactions, and the role involves owning and executing the project development strategy for the region. The VP will also be involved in portfolio-wide activities, budget management, and driving the strategy for project green-fielding and acquisitions in the market.Applicants for this role should have at least 10 years of experience in energy project development, with a focus on utility-scale renewable projects in the Western US. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or relevant Master's degree being a valuable addition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management and the successful delivery of large, complex projects. Strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment are essential. The role demands a candidate with a strong interest in a dynamic, value-building environment and the ability to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team.
