About the Role
The Vice President of Property Management at the company will be a key leader responsible for setting the vision and strategy of the property management division. This role involves mentoring and coaching direct reports, supporting regional portfolio managers, and overseeing the customer service experience to ensure that the physical aspects of the communities are maintained to high standards. The VP will also be tasked with maintaining a high level of customer service with onsite property staff, vendors, and residents, as well as supporting positive on-site performance management. Analyzing and improving property processes, budget review, and ensuring compliance with regulations are also core responsibilities. The successful candidate will work as an integral member of the leadership team, collaborate with various departments, and contribute to special projects as needed.Applicants for the Vice President of Property Management position should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in residential property management, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Advanced knowledge of residential property management, marketing strategies, and building maintenance is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions. The role requires advanced skills in Microsoft Office and experience with Yardi, as well as excellent communication skills and relevant certifications such as ARM, CAPS, CAM, or CPM. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively, while still working well within a team.
