About the Role
The Company is seeking a Relationship Manager (RM) for its Community Engagement (CE) team. The RM will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships across the political spectrum, cultivating forums for dialogue with national and local stakeholders, and aligning these efforts with the company's broader interests. This role is pivotal in advancing the firm's goals and requires a deep understanding of the role of large financial services organizations in the economy and the communities they serve. The RM will also manage an annual grant portfolio, support key influencer relationships, and design events to promote dialogue between senior executives and partners.Candidates for the RM position should have at least 7 years of experience in stakeholder management, issue advocacy campaigns, and grantmaking. Thought leadership in areas impacting the company's reputation and business operations, such as financial services, prudential, markets, or consumer policy, is essential. The role demands exceptional negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Integrity, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are also required. The successful candidate will be creative, flexible, and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is a must.
