Position Overview:
The VP of Southeast Transportation is the senior business leader responsible for overall growth, performance, and staffing of the PRIME AE Southeast Transportation portfolio.

The VP will oversee all aspects of the business operations while reporting to the Senior Vice President of Transportation.

The VP will protect and grow core geographic operations in the Southeast with a view toward expanding services through identifying new geographic markets supported by other PRIME AE operations.

This position is a member of the Transportation business line senior management team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure regional leads and project managers have developed project specific execution plans that include revenue, schedules, and resource allocation analyses demonstrating an ability to complete the work within the contracted terms.
Ensure the resources allocated have the skillsets and abilities to complete the work to Prime AE and client standards.
Third party follow-up with clients to ensure client satisfaction with local staff.
Review scope and fee development for projects over $250,000 in NFR with Regional Leads.
Ensure software requirements are met for project delivery.
Ensure project specific QA/QC plans are being developed and followed.
Ensure each regional lead and directors have coordinated senior staff required to QC each project submittal in a timely manner.
Perform Quality Control Audits to ensure QC documentation is being saved at the appropriate location on the server.
Encourage workshare among offices to ensure execution, delivery, and QC/QC.
Review utilization with each director to ensure staff is fully utilized.
Identify hiring needs, making a business case for each position.
Work with SVP SE on recruitment and location of new Staff.
Coordinate new staff location and onboarding path finders.
Work with regional leads on documenting and tracking client touches, both generally and for specific pursuits.
Develop marketing plans that surround conferences, industry societies, and client meetings.
Work with regional leads and discipline leads within SE (Federal, Planning, Civil, etc.) to identify contracts that have available revenue and develop a capture plan for those contracts.
Identify marquee multi-disciplinary projects and staff to lead those pursuits.
Work with National lead on identifying key hires or teaming partners (locally and from other states) required to capture upcoming projects.
Identify opportunities in other geographic areas or disciplines that can be leveraged for strategic positioning.
Work with regional leads and project managers on win themes for specific pursuits.
Review proposals and/or presentations to ensure the maximum number of points are captured on each pursuit.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years of Transportation experience with 10+ years in a leadership role.
PE License required.
Solid professional relationships with key area clients and teaming partners.
Solid client engagement experience related to direct meetings, strategy projects, and industry associations.
Demonstrated experience with quality management and implementation/enforcement of QA/QC standards.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of traditional and alternative delivery methods to include P3 and DB projects desired.
Active in professional organizations.
Ability to travel as needed.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results on challenging projects.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and grow teams.
Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
Professionalism appropriate to represent PRIME AE to clients
