About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Supply Chain and Operations to play a pivotal role in the development and execution of strategies to optimize the supply chain and vendor management operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading cross-functional teams, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, and driving continuous improvement in warehousing, logistics, and drop ship vendor processes. Key functions include developing a comprehensive supply chain strategy, overseeing warehousing, managing logistics, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and implementing risk management strategies. The role also involves building and leading a high-performing supply chain team, establishing performance metrics, ensuring compliance, and staying current with industry trends to implement innovative solutions.Applicants for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, with a master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, with a track record of success in warehousing, logistics, and vendor management, is required. The candidate must possess strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in supply chain software and technologies. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strong business acumen, financial understanding, and ERP experience are also necessary. Experience with Netsuite, Amazon Seller Central, B&M compliance, data, and fulfillment workflow is a plus, and fluency in Mandarin is desirable.
