Job Description - Vice President Technical Sales & Solutions Engineering

About This Role:

Solutions Engineering. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, solution strategy, technical consulting, and client transformation. The ideal candidate will be able to engage senior stakeholders, shape complex technology solutions, and help convert strategic client needs into scalable, outcome -driven programs.

Role Overview:

The Vice President – Technical Sales & Solutions Engineering will lead technical sales strategy, solution development, and client -facing engineering advisory for enterprise accounts. This individual will work closely with business development, delivery, product engineering, cloud, data, AI, and executive leadership teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, support proposal development, and guide clients through technology transformation journeys.

The role requires a strong blend of technical depth, commercial understanding, executive communication, and hands -on solutioning experience. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and translating business priorities into practical technology roadmaps and delivery models.


Requirements

  • Lead technical sales and solution engineering activities for enterprise clients and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to shape client conversations, proposals, solution strategies, and commercial pursuits.
  • Understand client business challenges and translate them into practical, scalable technology solutions.
  • Design high -level solution architectures across digital platforms, cloud, data, AI, engineering transformation, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Develop compelling solution narratives, technical proposals, presentations, and client -facing materials.
  • Engage with CXO, business, technology, and procurement stakeholders to communicate StatusNeo’s value proposition.
  • Support discovery sessions, workshops, proof -of -concept planning, and solution validation discussions.
  • Work with delivery and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, secure, and aligned with client outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on AI -native transformation, platform engineering, modern software delivery, customer experience, and digital operating models.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine go -to -market propositions, accelerators, reusable solution assets, and industry -specific offerings.
  • Help identify growth opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
  • Support deal qualification, effort estimation, delivery planning, pricing inputs, and transition from sales to delivery.
  • Represent StatusNeo as a senior technical and business advisor in client meetings, industry conversations, and strategic partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in technical sales, solution engineering, pre -sales, enterprise architecture, consulting, or digital transformation leadership.
  • Proven ability to engage senior enterprise stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business -oriented manner.
  • Experience designing and positioning technology solutions across areas such as cloud, application modernization, digital platforms, data, AI, product engineering, DevOps, or enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, Agile delivery, cloud -native architecture, and platform -based transformation.
  • Ability to connect business strategy with technology execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, RFP responses, solution presentations, commercial discussions, and client workshops.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across distributed teams and collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, and leadership functions.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast -paced, growth -oriented consulting and technology services environment.
