Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles within media, AI, or communications technologies. Recognized and respected leader with strong visibility and influence across international standards and media technology communities. Deep expertise in video and audio coding standards, AI applications in media, and global standards ecosystems. Strong understanding of patent licensing models and IP strategy. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing industry standards. Advanced technical degree with 15+ years in media or communications standards; prepared for enterprise-level leadership impact. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; a PhD is preferred. The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $328,900-$408,500 which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and a substantial equity package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
