About the Role
The Vice President for University Enterprises and Events is a pivotal leadership role within the institution, embodying a deep commitment to the University's Catholic mission and ensuring its integration into all decision-making processes. The successful candidate will provide executive oversight for a diverse set of business units, with a focus on strategic management of student and guest dining experiences, university hospitality, and event management. This includes leading the university's largest administrative division, which oversees a workforce of over 800 staff employees dedicated to supporting teaching, research, and student life.The role requires a visionary leader with a passion for fostering excellence in customer service and organizational culture. The Vice President will be responsible for the financial performance of the business units, collectively generating significant annual revenue, and will work closely with the President's Leadership Council, Deans, and a Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective management and guidance of key units, including a prestigious inn, conference center, bookstore, and catering services. Collaboration with various university stakeholders is fundamental, and the ideal candidate will be ready to make a lasting impact by driving impactful initiatives and upholding the institution's commitment to its Catholic mission.
