About the Role
The Company is seeking a Wholesale Credit Risk Team Lead - Vice President to join its Institutional Credit Management (ICM) organization. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the ICM Risk Analysis Unit, delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration. The role involves leading and coordinating a large group of analysts, ensuring quality assurance, and timely delivery. The Team Lead will also be responsible for coaching and supervising a team of credit risk analysts, senior analysts, and associates. Key responsibilities include maintaining industry-leading credit risk analysis practices, supporting the Credit Risk Portfolio Manager in engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring a strong credit culture within the team.Applicants must have a BA/BSc in finance or accounting, or a higher degree in business (MBA) or a related subject, and a minimum of 5-7 years of credit experience in banking, credit risk management, or equivalent. The role requires a solid knowledge of wholesale credit processes, organizational awareness, and a strong understanding of policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a Credit Officer or demonstrate skills aligned with that designation, with impeccable knowledge of financial systems and experience in preparing presentations for senior management. Skills and competencies sought include strategic orientation, proven team management abilities, and a track record of building high-performing teams. The candidate should also possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure with little supervision.
