About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, National Zero-Emission Fleet Lead to spearhead and support the development of zero-emission solutions within the transportation industry. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of managing and creating zero-emission fleet services, including fleet procurement support, testing and commission, vehicle inspections, and future-proofing solutions. This role involves providing strategic leadership to project teams, supporting the growth of the Center for Clean Transportation, and actively participating in business development efforts. The VP will also be responsible for anticipating market trends, being a trusted advisor to clients, and leading the recruitment of a new team to enhance the existing zero-emission fleet and facility group.Applicants for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 12 years of experience in a transit-related field and a significant background with a transit vehicle original equipment manufacturer. Expertise in zero emissions technologies, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work in a disciplined manner with little supervision are essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the zero-emission vehicle market, strong industry relationships, and experience with vehicle system design and specifications, particularly in APC and AVL systems. A PMP certification or the ability to quickly earn one is preferred, along with an advanced degree in a relevant field and transit agency experience in a vehicle-related position.
