We’re looking for a Video Editor who’s not just skilled with Adobe Premiere—but obsessed with storytelling, audience retention, and crafting YouTube content that actually performs. Someone who knows how to cut with intention, build emotional momentum, and keep viewers clicking “Next video.”

🎬 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Edit long-form YouTube videos with a focus on storytelling, structure, and retention
• Craft strong hooks in the first 5 seconds and engaging openings in the first 30 seconds
• Optimize pacing, transitions, and narrative flow to maximize Watch Time and Average View Duration (AVD)
• Enhance videos with sound design: music, sound effects, and audio mixing for emotional impact
• Add light motion graphics (text callouts, transitions) to elevate visual quality
• Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure every edit aligns with title, thumbnail, and video goal
• Stay up to date with YouTube trends, formats, and algorithm changes
• Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedback

• Don’t have YouTube editing experience or examples of your work
• Aren’t fluent in Adobe Premiere (or struggle with creative pacing)
• Can’t take feedback or iterate quickly
• Aren’t familiar with audience retention strategies
• Don’t keep up with what’s working in the YouTube space

✅ Required:

✔️ 3+ years of experience editing content for YouTube
✔️ Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and viewer psychology
✔️ Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (After Effects & Photoshop a plus)
✔️ Ability to craft compelling intros and maintain engagement throughout
✔️ Comfortable with feedback and collaborative editing process
✔️ Passion for content, creativity, and growth

💰 The Pay: $60,000–$80,000/year (depending on experience)
