Position Summary
We are looking for a Systems Engineer with experience in video engineering, production infrastructure, software packages, and networks.

Job Description
The Systems Engineer will work closely with video production specialists, multimedia design and graphics teams and design, configure and maintain network infrastructure in support of the video production unit serving multiple sister units across the organization. They will assess and validate video production equipment requirements within the unit and across the organization and assess and validate video and multimedia software package requirements within the unit and across the organization for inclusion into the video network. The Systems Engineer will also assist in cooperatively validating video production network equipment with organization’s security elements and research and prepare technical proposals for presentation to the video production management team and security elements for approval prior to the addition of new technologies to the network. They should be prepared to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M), upgrades, and content management support for the organization’s video network; utilize network analysis tools to identify performance problems in the network; troubleshoot to restore network to optimal performance levels; and assist and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Technologies/Tools

(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with video network infrastructure and of a wide variety of broadcast production workflows and storage configurations.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with of a wide variety of video production software packages such as, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, AfterEffects, 3D modeling and animation software, and video and audio editing software plug-ins and extensions.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with of a wide variety of broadcast video hardware and studio equipment, including: cameras, lighting kits, and audio recording/processing devices.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with best practices for video network signal and footage processing from camera to mass storage in a secure environment.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with researching and support procuring relevant equipment and software involving broadcast video production within a secure environment.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience translating organizational security restrictions into specific requirements within the procurement process.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience authoring security plans for the video production network.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with designing and configuring video production networks.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with maintaining and upgrading video production networks.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with procuring and installing updated video production software within a secure network environment.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with securing security approvals for hardware and software procurements and installations.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience installing required video studio equipment, to include lighting systems, cameras, Teleprompters, and audio equipment.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience using adapters and other peripherals to modify video and audio equipment to ensure compatibility with secure video network.
(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience authoring robust security plans for video studios.
(Desired) Demonstrated experience using standardized systems to procure required items.
(Desired) Demonstrated experience developing video production workflows for producer and directors.
