Videographer - Urgent Role

JOB TITLE: Videographer

DURATION: 6+ months contract-to-hire or extensions
RATE RANGE: $30-50/hour

Job Description:
Are you a talented videographer with a passion for creating compelling videos that captivate audiences? We are seeking a Videographer and Multimedia Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing visually stunning videos for both internal and external channels. Your creative storytelling abilities, video shooting, and editing skills will play a pivotal role in conveying our messaging goals.

Position Responsibilities:

• Utilize innovative storytelling techniques to craft engaging content while aligning with strategic messaging objectives.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to contribute to and lead scriptwriting and storyboard development.
• Direct video subjects to ensure the capture of high-quality content.
• Assist in developing video editing plans, communicate effectively with stakeholders, perform video edits, and format video files for use on internal and external digital communication platforms.
• Prepare shooting locations and conduct video shoots and interviews.
• Coordinate video shoot production schedules in collaboration with the production team.
• Create videos for various digital communication platforms, including internal and external social media applications.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Maintain and manage video, photo, and audio equipment.
• Uphold brand guidelines and possess a strong understanding of design standards.
• Follow established approval processes and communicate final deliverables.
• Ensure quality control and catalog all raw video source clips, audio clips, multimedia files, and art files.
• Maintain the operational condition of the editing suite and be responsible for the maintenance of required software and hardware for video/audio/photographic production operations.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and technologies in multimedia design, development, and distribution.
• Collaborate with external agencies on projects as needed.
• Additional skills in photography and animation are a plus.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in video and photo production and editing using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, and After Effects.
• A degree in a media-related field is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments, adjust strategies as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced, matrix-style work environment where ambiguity and tight deadlines are common.
• Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within defined timelines.
• Experience in supporting media users on various platforms.
• Proficiency with Mac OSX, Mac iOS, and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
• Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
• Knowledge and understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
