What You’ll Do:
- Re-cut Opening Scenes: Take existing vertical drama episodes and creatively remix anything from the first 3 seconds to the first 10 minutes to maximize viewer retention.
- Find the "Angle": Identify the core emotional hook of an episode (betrayal, revenge, romance, suspense) and restructure the intro to instantly tease that payoff.
- A/B Testing Variations: Create 3 to 5 different opening hooks for the same episode so our team can test what drives the highest story performance.
- Apply Social-Native Tactics: Utilize fast-paced cuts, impactful sound design, and text overlays that feel native to platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Pitch Ideas: Act as a creative partner. Tell us why a specific hook will work based on current short-form trends and viewer psychology.
What You’ll Bring:
- A Social Media Native: You have a strong portfolio of short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and understand the rapid-fire pacing required for mobile viewing.
- A Storyteller at Heart: You understand narrative structure enough to take a story out of chronological order and start in media res (in the middle of the action) without confusing the viewer.
- Software Proficient: Highly skilled in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut (desktop), with a strong grasp of sound design and pacing.
- An Engagement Expert: You don't just make things look pretty; you edit for metrics. You understand retention graphs and know exactly where viewers typically drop off.
