We have a current opening for a Virtual Construction Detailer at our Dallas, TX office.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

• Collaborates with project team to determine how project will be built by assisting with planning and research.
• Ensures details being prepared accurately represent how the Foreman intends to build the project.
• Communicates design and constructability issues to project team so that RFI’s can be generated.
• Determines quantity and size of raceways, homerun circuitry and grouping, and a general idea of routing.
• Provides notes, markups, and sketches to modeling team to be utilized in modeling and sheet creation.
• Collaborates with modelers to ensure that model is constructable, and detailer’s intent is maintained when changes are required to model.
• Creation of 2D layout and fabrication drawings as needed for non-BIM projects.
• Acts as a mentor to modeling staff, lending electrical and field experience to the modeling

• Must have an electrical background
• Previous field experience as Electrician Trainee, Apprentice, Journeyman or Foreman a plus!
• Having run projects is preferred, not required.
• The ideal candidate would have a variety of field experience (from trenching to trim out).
• Commercial background is preferred over residential, not required.
• Must have a passion for planning.
• Must be highly detailed with good organization skills.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with a deskbound job.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu preferred, not required.

Salary Range:

• $45.00/hour - $50.00/hour
