Job Description:

Develops and implements customized improvement plans for individual practices. Evaluates performance data to prioritize interventions. Partners with medical group leaders to optimize EHR use and ensure practice success. Supports process improvement and transformation for practices. Implements evidence-based care models. Assists with EHR optimization. Assesses workflows, identifies gaps, defines necessary changes, and develops future workflows. Conducts improvement audits and reports findings to the manager and team. Monitors data and outcome measures to evaluate user adoption of systems and processes. Leverages data and analytics to identify areas needing improvement. Collaborates closely with reporting teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection. Analyzes performance data by region, medical group, specialty, practice, and provider to promote optimal outcomes.

  • Traveling role 50% of the time

  • Ideal candidates located in Florida OR North Carolina

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Microsoft Office suite experience with advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio skills [Required]

• Familiarity with physician practice transformation in the multi-specialty setting, supported by project management and quality improvement principles [Required]

• Knowledge in Healthcare Operations, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Practice Operations, Clinical Operations, Nursing Work Flow, Physician Work Flow, Medical Information [Required]

• Proficiency in identifying, defining, analyzing, and displaying metrics and goals [Required]

• Process improvement methodologies experience [Required]

• Process mapping and process mapping tools experience [Required]

• Project management experience [Required]

• Participation in practice management/EHR implementation and/or ongoing support and optimization programs [Required]

• Effective communication skills with all stakeholders, e.g., executive leadership, physicians, managers, and staff [Required]

• Advanced problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills [Required]

• Experience with leading small groups or projects [Required]

• Knowledge of/experience with athenaCollector and athenaClinicals [Preferred]

• Experience to run and decipher analytic reports [Preferred]

• Experience leading performance improvement/optimization efforts [Preferred]

• Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA) [Preferred]

• Familiarity with formal change management models (e.g., GE CAP, Destra ACT) [Preferred]



Education:

• Associate [Required]

• Bachelor's [Required]



Field of Study:

• in business, engineering, IT or healthcare related field

• and 4 years’ experience required OR 10+ years of experience.



Work Experience:

• 5+ experience in*it/emr or training experience*performance improvement/process optimization experience [Required]

• Member of professional organization(s) related to job responsibilities (i.e. IHI, ASQ, SHS) [Preferred]

• Physician Practice Operations Experience [Preferred]



Additional Information:
Completion of one professional certification within one year and maintenance of certification thereafter if applicable, e.g. CPHIMS, CMPE, Lean Bronze, Six Sigma Certified Green or Black Belt



Licenses and Certifications:

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB) [Preferred]

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (CSSGB) [Preferred]

• Lean Bronze Certification [Preferred]

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]
