Summary:
The Social and Behavioral Sciences department at Colorado Mesa University is seeking a visiting instructor of psychology. Colorado Mesa University is a state-funded, largely undergraduate institution that emphasizes quality teaching. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. Courses will be taught via a combination of in-person, hybrid, and distance delivery modalities. Teaching will be the successful candidate’s primary responsibility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Teaching core and elective undergraduate psychology courses, which may include the following topic areas: Biopsychology, Drugs and Human Behavior, General Psychology, and Research Methods.
Teaching in other areas of specialization within the psychology discipline will be considered, requisite with the candidate’s experience and expertise.
The ability to teach in-person lecture format, as well as online.
