Visiting Nure

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Visiting Nurse to provide exceptional in-home healthcare services to patients in Macomb, MI. The ideal candidate will deliver skilled nursing care, promote patient health and well-being, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Interviews are going to be at our office located in Livonia.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring.


• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.


• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.


• Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources to facilitate patient care.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided.


• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.


• Previous experience in home health care or related nursing field preferred.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Macomb, MI.


• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
