Visual Support Associate

Description

We are currently seeking a Visual Support Associate will support our Cantoni Stores in DFW area (which includes Cantoni, American Leather, Natuzzi, Dallas Trade and Alpha Rd Showrooms. If you have experience with resetting and installing displays in a retail environment, are highly motivated, and would like to work for the leading contemporary home furnishings and design studio in Dallas. We encourage people with experience in carpentry, construction, furniture, material handling, or other transferable skills to apply.
 

Job Type: Full-time, In-person, Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift, with occasional weekends and some Holidays may be required. 

Ability to commute within the DFW area: This role may require you to travel to other store locations within the Dallas -Fort Worth Metroplex.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an individual with:

· 2+ years Visual Merchandising/Installation experience – furniture and/or retail experience is preferred.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

· Strong organizational and time management abilities

· Excellent customer service acumen

· Working knowledge of basic tools like wrenches, drills, saws, and others. Light carpentry, general construction, assembly, warehouse racking, lumber, drywall, home improvement, hardware, skilled trades, fixture installation, retrofits, retail installs, store conversations, steel frame, remodels, material handling, and other transferable skills.

· Working knowledge of shop drawings, fixture plans, planograms, and detailed installation instructions. Ability to read planograms, floor plans, or blueprints for retail shelving and fixture placement. Able to set products to planogram, signage installation, building displays, price tags.

· Working knowledge of plumb, level and square

· Ability and experience moving heavy furniture and fixtures

· Skills to install displays, fixtures (including assembly), and various signage and décor items

· Furniture assembly experience

· Experience with hanging art

· Some experience with painting interior walls

· A strong commitment to job site safety including maintaining a clean jobsite at all times

· Ability to install wall murals, dry and wet graphics is a plus

· Working knowledge of electrical skills a plus

· Ability to work at other DFW locations as required.
