Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is looking to hire a Vocational Horticulture Teacher to support the Department of Justice component at Federal Prison Camp (FPC), 1016 Douglas Avenue, Yankton, South Dakota 57078-0610.

Location : Federal Prison Camp (FPC), 1016 Douglas Avenue, Yankton, South Dakota 57078-0610.

Hours of Work : The Instructor is responsible for conducting business, following this time table :

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Monday - Friday 12:15 PM - 3:45 PM
Monday - Thursday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Duties :

• Provide, on a nondiscriminatory basis, an Advanced Occupational Education Program.
• Develop lesson objectives, plans, and prepare a viable course curriculum leading to certificates and Associate degrees in Business, and Horticulture.
• Provide instruction that enables students to develop employment skills.

Education & Qualifications :

• A high school diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) certificate is required.
• Must be listed in the directory entitled Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education published for the Commission on Recognition of Post-Secondary Accreditation.
• Documentation certifying accreditation must be attached.
