We’re looking for a compassionate, self-motivated, and relationship-focused Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Martinsburg team. If you enjoy helping people reach their goals while connecting them with real employment opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Identify individuals’ strengths, skills, interests, and employment goals.


• Develop individualized career and employment plans.


• Provide support with resumes, applications, interviews, and job readiness.


• Build relationships with local employers and identify employment opportunities.


• Match individuals with positions aligned with their skills and interests.


• Provide job coaching, onboarding support, and follow-up to promote job retention.


• Educate employers about disability inclusion and workplace accommodations.


• Maintain accurate case notes, employment records, and required documentation.


• Manage an assigned caseload and travel throughout the community to meet with participants, employers, and partners.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, organized, and passionate about helping others succeed.

Required:

• A relevant work or life experience
  supporting individuals with disabilities.


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance.


• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.


• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Vocational rehabilitation


• Employment services or job coaching


• Workforce development


• Human or disability services


• Case management


• Working with veterans or individuals with disabilities
