Job Summary

Assist teachers in the implementation of educational and behavioral interventions of students with varying cognitive and academics levels. Assist students in general education classrooms and/or pull out individual or small groups with the goal of helping students develop to their fullest God-given potential.

Required Education 

High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Experience working with special needs students preferred.

Essential Functions

Working with individuals and/or small groups. 

Adapt classroom activities, assignments, or materials to instructional range of students.
Perform related duties as assigned in a variety of school settings to provide a safe and positive environment.

Job Requirements 

Knowledge-based competencies in the areas of grammar, reading, math, science, and social studies.
Maintenance of confidentiality.
Flexibility in scheduling and activities throughout a school day.
Communicate with and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues, teachers, students, parents, and administrators.

School Year

Hourly- based on experience
