We are looking to expand our service team by adding a Service Advisor. The right candidate for this position will enjoy working independently on daily tasks while providing exceptional customer service and support to all dealership guests. What you’ll do…

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for assisting guests in person and on the phone, writing repair orders, building estimates, processing claims and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Responsibilities include…

• Writing repair orders for mechanical inspection and creating estimates for guests


• Work closely with VW shop technicians, service manager and sales teams to ensure 5-star experiences for guests and peers


• Investigate recalls and check for active warranties within the customer database 


• Coordinate vehicle returns and pickups when needed for guests


• Update guests on vehicle repair and diagnostic statuses


• Stay up-to-date on OEM certification programs


• Continuously evaluate and improve department policies and procedures with management support


• Maintain professional image and appearance

Qualifications…

• Strong active listening skills and attention to detail 


• Strong organizational skills 


• Computer literacy for cataloging and inventory


• Skilled knowledge of automobiles, trucks, and their systems


• Ability to work independently but also in a team setting


• Ability to prioritize workload and follow procedures/policies


• Reading and writing comprehension skills


• Oral and written communication skills
